Freud's Couch II

 Here is what Freud's couch looks like now housed in the London Freud Museum where he lived the last year of his life. ( I got to visit there in 2025). Actually what I called afghans in my earlier post were really oriental rugs draped over the couch! Notice, unlike in movies and cartoons, his chair is behind the patient. This custom remains today.
